Knocking Clients Off Their Seats (Lior Yair)
Creating an amazing design is only a part of our job. The second part is to know how to present this design to the client. If you are a designer, product manager or anyone who spends most of their time working on creative, talking about design is an essential skill. After all, design is subjective and a bad presentation can kill solid design work.
In this presentation Lior Yair will teach us how to present and approve designs in the quickest and most professional way. We will learn how to define a meeting and the importance of setting expectations from your client.
Lior Yair is a design expert with over 11 years of experience, Head of UX Ecommerce division at WIX, the former Co CEO at Netcraft and the founder of Netcraft Academy. Lior is also a lecturer at Delaware University, the Holon Institute of Technology, IDC Herzliya and the College of Management Academic Studies.
Be a Good Designer, Be a Good Client (Oded Babayoff)
There has been a lot of talk about empathy with the end user in UX design over the last few years. The importance of understanding what type of product you are building and for whom you are doing it. While this is important, and really hard to get to, there is another type of empathy, that is almost as important during the development of a product and that is the communication and understanding that should exist between co- workers, and between consultants and clients.
In this presentation Oded Babayoff will show us how to bridge the gap between designers and clients. We will learn about the importance of a good design brief and gain insights on how to keep clients happy.
Oded Babayoff, UX & UI Designer, Partner at Matnas interactive. Oded has over 15 years of experience working with startups and media companies large and small. In recent years Oded took part on redesigning Nana10, Holes in the net, Aniboom and many more.
