A brand is valuable equity. It relies on users perception and experiences with products and services. It holds a promise and commitment and when established as a positive and meaningful message, it makes a huge impact on business’ and sustainability of companies. The session takes a look at the impact of UI and UX on how services are perceived and valued by users. By comparing the building blocks of successful traditional brands, It evokes some thoughts and insights and maybe guidelines for establishing interfaces which are memorable, differentiated, meaningful and therefore valuable.
Ronel Mor, Designer, entrepreneur and educator. Ronel is head of the Interactive design program at the visual communication department at Bezalel Academy in Jerusalem where he teaches for over 13 years. Today Ronel is the co-founder and Chief creative of Samba.me – first prize winner in the social cattegory at the SXSW statup competition. In 1997 Founded Mantis, a leading design firm in Tel Aviv, where he lead and directed hundreds of web related projects for internationally acknowledged brands, museums, television broadcasters, and global corporations. Ronel is an acknowledged speaker in the fields of UX and branding and speaks at prominent professional and academic events in Israel and worldwide.
